problem in transporting script

hi to all,

when i copied existing script form to mine it is not asking any package names it is stored in local object. so how to change this lical object into package.

plz help me

I thought there was an option in SE71 to change the package. I do not see it in the release I am working with.

You can use txn SM30, table TADIR, go to the bottom entry (under R3TR DTEL) and enter FORM, enter your layout set name and execute. Double click on the entry. You can change dev class/package.

I think there is an easier way. Maybe using SE80 with package $TMP. Select your object, right click, reassign... maybe.

hi kranthi,

in program i.e.se38

click on GOTO->OBJECT DIRECTORY ENTRY->(u will get a popup)Display Directory Entry...

click on <b>CHANGE</b> icon and change the package

Hi Kranthi,

If its regarding assigning of the package to a SAPScript then you can use the Utilities->Copy from Client option given in the main menu of the SE71 transaction and at that time you'll be prompted for the package.

Enter R3TR and FORM in the input values, this is for SAPSCRIPT, enter your Script and Press the Object Directory Entry push button and change the Development class for SAP SCRIPT ....
