Hi all,
I use RSTXLDMC to upload a TIFF file, after that,
it returns an error saying:
TIFF format error: No baseline TIFF 6.0 file
What's wrong?
Thanks.

Hi Macy ,
Check with the extension you save. TIFF files need to be saved with the extension .TIF format.
Have a look.

Hi,
Check whether you file is in .Tiff
And Extension.
Why don't you Upload through SE78.
It will more eassy as well.
***********
Try with SE78 Tcode.Upload through it.
*************
Hey do one thing.
Delete your .Tiff file completely and save it once again.
I think this is the only thing you can do for this.
*************
Thanks.

Thx for your reply.
I've checked and I'm sure that the file is with extension .tif,
and I also tried out with extension .tiff
but the same error still there....

When I use SE78 to open the tif, it is not available meaning that the tif has not been successfully uploaded.
When I import the .tif via SE78, the same error occurs.

In windows Try to open the file and then saveas *.tif file. try it out.

I found these in the explorer:
The file name is xxx.tif, but the type is Microsoft Office document imaging file.
Is this the cause that my file is not a true .tif file ?
But when I use paint shop pro to open the .tif file, the image info does tell me that the file type is .tif.

Hi What you need to Do is
in windows command prompt type cmd
go to the directory
move the imagefile to tiff file.
use the command move zv.img zv.tif
thsi will convert file type to tiff

Oh...the file extension shown in command prompt is .tif but not .img.
That means the .tif file is already there...

Ok, Sorry,
I didn't see you reply,
Then I think It is in TIff format.
even though it is not taking...

As you are telling it is a logo,i thought it is the Better option to switch from tiff to BMP.

Sorry, it should not be a logo.
The tiff contains a text, e.g. receipt.
It is a standard text.

it should work for tiff, i don't know what is the problem..
what is the original format...

Hi Macy ,
Have you given the standard text format as
ZHEX-MACRO-filename , First save your file with imaging format. Try opening your file in this.

Yes,
I've given the filename (XXX) in ZHEX-MACRO-XXX
but still fails...

Hi,
I have faced the same problem before.
Instead of using MS paint for image formatting use some other Imaging applications for opening the image, then save it in TIF format & then try to upload.

I got the same problem with yours.
Just dont use MS Paint to process and convert that image.
I use Corel to save the image to B/W tiff file.. and only it works....
you can try photoshop, or corel to convert and process your file...

the problem is that tiff will not support color !
try only with B/W r use bmp for color
se78 -> graphics -> import
