Hello Experts,
I have a problem in printing a layout.
When I give the printer option as 'LOCL' it works fine but when I change the name of the printer the output gets changed. It has to give the correct output irrespective of the printer. Let me know how to handle this scenario.
Regards,
Siva.

Hello Siva,
Check the printer Configuration with ur BASIS Peoples.
SAP don't have any interface with the Printers.
If u r using the the PAGE FORMAT As DINA4 Then It should print properly to all printers.
If useful reward points.

Hi,
Check the driver available in 'Device type' attached to the output device LOCL in SPAD transaction, modify the same settings for the other output device you are trying to use and check the output,
Hope this helps,

Hello siva,
Normally the printer settings may differ from one printer to the other.. Please check the printer settings and align your script accordingly in order to get a print without changes.
thanks,
Krishna

hi,
the layout attached to printer LOCL/printers might be different,
check the printer settings. go TO SPAD transaction and see the Configuration settings of the printer and attached layouts.

The printers might have different device types assigned to them in SPAD. Differen device types print the same script differently in SAP. This is SAP printing standard behavior. Try to adjust your script to print fine on the other printer not LOCL.
