Printer Error

Hello friends,

I am running a priogram in the background and printing the result. Its creating a spool but i dont see the printouts. In SM37 i checked if the printer is setup and in the pring specifications i see the name of the printer i need to print the result.

When i looked into the spool it saya error. I clicked on the error and takes me to a different screen and below is the message.

Spool no. OutpReqNo. User Time Output Device Format Log Status text for output req.

26977 1 BUSER 06:37 ssiapcanon5020 X_65_255 Incorrect (Failed to connect to LPD)

Hi Madhu,

This can be the connection problem to printer or to LPD.

Just check with your basis team on this.

Hi,

Usually it refers to Local Printer Driver/Destination.

LPD: In computing, LPD can refer to the Line Printer Daemon protocol, or the program lpd, which is a component of it
