PO Change BDC Problem

Hi Friends,

I have written BDC for changing Purchase order item for field Plant. Now when I am going to save the PO it is creating output type, for Idoc generation.

So in BDC program what logic I have to put so that it will not generate any output type for this PO change activity.

Any Idea how to suppress Output type generation in program.

If you are doing a mass change, your functional analysts may have a way to turn this off temporarily.

That I can do it from NACE, T-code, but if I want to do this in program then its feasible ??

No way that I know of.

when ever an output is generated, the NAST table gets updated and some batch job runs the output to Idocs.. so you might have to find a place where NAST table is updated and try to stop it... typically most of the Organization have there own custom codes to take care of this process... as you are saying its a temp process its not worth the time to search on it... making changes in NACE would be easy enough..
