hi!
I have attached the Partner Profile for the Generated model by assigning the Created Sender, Receiver and message Type and Distributed too.
While checking the attached partner using the T.code WE20 the Message Type is differing from what i have given in the model. its taking SYNCH and the Basic Type as SYNCHRON but the receiver port has been attached correctly.
whats the mistake i have done

Did you add the same message type in partner profile as well before
genarating and distributing the model from BD64?

Hello KV,
Did you use BD64 trxn to generate the partner profile or you have distributed the model only ?

hi! Suhas Saha
1. T.code BD64
2. Created a Model View by assiging the Technical name
3. for the created Model added message type by clicking the Add message Type button
4. assigned the Sender, receiver and Message type by choosing using the search help option
5. by selecting the Model view goto Environment menu --> Generate partner profile and choose 'Transfer IDOC Imm.' and 'Trigger Immd' radio buttons and executed. Partner, Port and Outbound parameters are successfully generated by displaying in green color
6. for the Model goto Edit> Model View> Distribute
for cross checked the partner profile using the T.code WE20, Message type was not as i gave in partner profile

Thats what i told you to check in my early reply.
You have to add your message type in WE20 before doing all those steps in BD64.

Hello KV,
Are you checking the partner profile in the same client as the one in which you have defined the Distr. Model or is it a different client?
If it is a diff. client / system, then you need to Distribute the model first & then generate the partner profile. Also as i understand the SYNCH message has already been added to the Partner Profile?
@Gautham: I do not think that adding message type manually in WE20 is reqd. You only have to add the SYNCH message & "generate partner profile" will automatically add the messages to the partner profile.

You have to add the message type in WE20, once you generate the partner profile then SYNCH message will
automatically be added in partner profile.

Hello Gautam,
I am 100% sure about this (anyways FYI i am in ECC5.0). If you debug the BD64 transaction, you will find that it uses some FM (i donot have the SAP system with me so cannot give you the name of the FM) to update table EDP13 directly.
once you generate the partner profile then SYNCH message will automatically be added in partner profile
Then what is the use of adding SYNCH message? In fact the SYNCH message has to be added manually in WE20 & is used by the partner profile generation program to get the port details.
The FMs which SAP uses are: MODEL_ADD_MESSAGE_TYPE_LINK & EDI_AGREE_OUT_MESSTYPE_INSERT. You can refer to the program RBDCUS15.

Hi,
SYNCH message type is automatically generated when you generate the partner profiles in BD64 .... One you genearet the partner profiles with the message type , if connections are perfect between the systems then you will see the message type also generated... apart from that one more indication for connections being perfect is you will get the message types in green colour .
Let us know if you have any issue.
