Hi Gurus,

I need to change the description of the package that I have assigned to my objects, can you please guide me through.

Double click on the transport in SE09. Press the "properties" tab. Press the disp/change button.

go to SE80 -> Packages-->giv u r package and go to change mode and change the description.

Rajeev,

there r different ways to do it

1. For what object you need to change the package

from the menu GOTO-> OBJECT DIRECTORY ENTRY

press change

change the package name and save and activate

2.you can press GOTO --> Change Dictionary Object

or else, goto SE80 and give the Object name and right click that and change the Package

3. u can also do it using transaction SE03 -> Object Directory -> Change Object Directory Entries , then under program give u r program name , and u can change the name of package .

Hi Rajeev,

Are you sure you want to change the package desc .

Because the same package is used by all developers in ur company and ur changing the description of package which will be used by others as well

I was just curious t know if thats the case you can change it using se80
