Hi All,
Can any one let me know, how to save a dictionary object(which is saved as a local object) to a package.

In SE11 change the object, choose Goto -> Object directory entry. In here you can change the package.

Hi,
goto the table in change mode and select in the menu as below.
GO TO->OBJECT DIRECTORY ENTRY there u can change.
(OR)
goto tcode se03
expand node Object Directory and double click on Change Object Directory Entries u'll get another screen in that select the check box corresponding to TABLE/STRUCTURE give ur table name,press F8.
place ur cursor on ur table name in that screen,and press the object directory button there also u can change.

Hi Dhiraj,
You can do this by this way:
goto SE11 ---> Put ur table name --> Change mode --> In the menu bar Extras --> Object directory entry..
You will get a popup, where the package will be $tmp, change that to ur target package, and click ok.. It will ask you for a transport request.. create the same and save..
You can always use transaction SE03 for this too..

Hi,
after saving the dictionary object in local object.goto se80 in repository browser u will find a drop down list,from that select local objects.inside this select dictionary objects.you can choose data base tables or structures etc.your table/struc will appear.right click choose other functions ->change package assignments.
it will ask for package name ->enter desired package.
