Openoffice.org excel file uploaderror

Hi All ,

Openoffice.org is installed in my ssytem .

Now i woudl like to uplaod Openoffice.org excel file into sap

I am using the Fm : ALSM_EXCEL_CONVERT_INT_TABLE.

i AM GETTING AN ERRROR OF upload ole error.

Hi

The fm ALSM_EXCEL_CONVERT_INT_TABLE is for excel: it's used OLE methods, so I don't think they can work for OPENOFFICE to.

Try to use the fm GUI_UPLOAD or convert the openoffice file to csv format: I don't know if there's a specific fm for the openoffice file now.

Not answereed any one but i Uninstalled Openoffice and installed MSPOFcie solved

An Open Office spreadsheet (nice product and free) is NOT an Excel file...
