Object Classes - purpose

Hi,

Can someone please clarify the purpose of Object classes?

Are they just to define which modules can use which authorisation objects (via which object classes can be used by each module)?

your question seems to be right out of left field.

I think the best thing to do is direct you to the Wiki at https://www.sdn.sap.com/irj/sdn/wiki?path=/display/abap/object+oriented and also to suggest you do some reading up on OO. There are heaps of resources online.
