number format exception

Hi,

How to catch the number format exception in normal abap (I am Not using Oops).

Please give me the solution.

Hi rakesh,

if you are on ECC600 or above, go for TRY ... ENDTRY.

TRY.
  <number field>  = <text field>.
 
  catch CX_SY_CONVERSION_NO_NUMBER.
    do_some_error_handling
 
ENDTRY.
