new namespace

Hi,

we have got new namespace from SAP. But we developed the code already with "Z". Now we would like to record all the objects which we developed under "Z" want to tranfer to our new namespace. But i have no idea how we can do that???

Will you please help me in this regard??

U can copy the existing Z program to another in ur namespace.

Hi,

Check this link for mass downloads of source code including function groups, text pools, and reports.

In that program,give your program name , downloaad[check],location to be downloaded.

Then try to upload those files to the specified location.

Hi,

Just try giving your program name and checkmark the download to downlaod the file you want.Just see the code for that.

Check whether it is downloaded.

After that just give that downloaded filename in that program and give the new program name.Check this link for the code.

In that they have used parameter ,just try it with select-option.

Hi,

The very best I suggest is write a report program.

In that frame the select statement like this.

select * from trdir into table itab where name like 'Z%'.

This will put all your Z program names into itab.

Loop this itab.

inside the loop run the BDC for SE38.

[you can very well record the same in SHDB]

Then all your Z programs will be transfered to new name space.
