Need to develop a BAPI for vendor creation

hi,

I need to create a Bapi for vendor creation. I found some bapi "BAPI_VENDOR_CREATE"' but its is directly calling the TCODE XK01.This was a screen level creation. requirement is i will give the  required inputs to the bapi and as an output I want the newly created vendor.

Is there any useful bapi for creation of vendor.Please help me in this.

Actually i need to update the vendor i tried below methods, Address i can able to update it,

But communication i was struck . I used bdc. You may try by using below sample codes.

There is no actual BAPI for this requirement, but there is an API class VMD_EI_API with a method MAINTAIN_BAPI avalable. (There are already some threads on it)

Yes, you can build a customer ZBAPI that uses this class, if this is your actual requirement.
