I am using ECC 6 and not found this fm as obsolete.,Its have function group HRPH that contains 2 function modules

HR_FIELD_CHOICE

HR_DISPLAY_BASIC_LIST

Hi,

You can use any of the ALV_GRID/LIST function modules ... pretty much all of them have the same/additional functionality in comparison to HR_DISPLAY_BASIC_LIST.

Also try alternate FM REUSE_ALV_GRID_DISPLAY.
