Hi guys, how are you doing?
After a lot of effort and a thousand bugs fixed, managed to setup a mini sap on my pc server home to practice when I'm not connected to customers, in addition to advance programs when VPNs are not working...
My question is this,
is possibie that the mini-SAP server trial, accept connections from other PCs on the same network?
How I do this? I'm really lost, cause i even dont know where to start...
Obviously I have disabled the firewall on both PCs.
Thank you for your time!

Hi Marcos.
How did you define the System Entry Properties ?
Unless you are using a DNS server, in Application server parameter you have to specify the full IP address of the PC working as MINISAP Server.
Can you please paste here the values or an screenshot ?

Dairo

Yes, thanks for answer!
This is the Local SAP GUI Configuration, its working right now:
And this is from the Notebook in the same Network:
2 differente questions:
1- MINISAP admit remote connectiones?
2- I have to open ports on the server, configurate something or install aplications to do this?
I can send you information of my SAP Management Console if you want it too

Hi Marcos.
What Minisap version are you using ? As far as I know, Minisap can admit remote connections so probably it's an IP problem.
What's the windows version in both PC's "Server" and "notebook" ?
When you ping to 10.0.0.101 from your notebook, what response do you receive?
Do you have apache or any other service installed in "server" PC ? Can you access them from "notebook" ? Please try.
Just to discard port issues, please try disabling firewall in both PC's and try again.
Please try and let me know.

FIXED!
The problem was that when I disable the firewall only did it for "Domain Profile", and when i was taking the screen shot, noted that for "Private Profile" and "Public Profile" was still active,
I change it and now it work!
