method like free in cl_dd_document?

Hello,

is it wright that there is no free method in the mentioned class? how can I else free the items of the instance?

I have tried method INITIALIZE_DOCUMENT but I furthermore have the old picture displayed.

Hi,

From the Class CL_DD_DOCUMENT, there are no method to clear or free the item instance of the class. But I guess, you are using some controls to populate the Text. You can have a look at the following demo code which provided you a work around to clear the text and at the same time you can populate some other text to it.

ABAP Report : Z_GUI_CONTROLS. ( You can do a where used list on the Class with the Report/Program as a Selection).

my problem is, that I want to add a ne pic to the document, is this also shown in the example report? where can I found the mentioned report?

Hi,

Have a look at the following code : BCALV_TEST_FULLSCREEN in ABAP Editor. Also, you can search in the ABAP Editor with the search string BCALV*. All the reports and Objetcs are stored in the SLIS Package.

Initialize your existing dynamic document using the initialize_document method. Fill and merge the dynamic document as normal

When you call the display_document method, set the reuse_control parameter to 'X'

If you are already doing this, then the problem lies with refreshing the control that your picture is in.
