Message type SERDAT cannot be sent with change pointers

Hi

     I am trying to run a program, but it is giving error as below.

I cant able to find a reason why i cant able to send data using change pointers for this particular message type. Is there any configuration to restrict the selection of data thro' change pointers or am i missing something..?

Diagnosis

You attempted to send message type SERDAT. Unfortunately you cannot choose data for this message type using change pointers.

System Response

The system does not carry out the action.

Procedure

If message type SERDAT is for master data, it can be sent directly. If it is for transaction data, the message tyoe is sent automatically via the transaction.

For the message SERDAT processing in the inbound partner profiles should be set to 'immediate processing'.
