message long text transportation

Hello All,

Done the translations for DE to FR for message ZSD1009.

But i want to transport the message long text form Development to Quality.

Can anyone please tell me how to do the transportation?

Hi Santhosh,

in SE10 create a new transport of type Transport of Copies.

Add the following entries into the object list:

LIMU DOCU NAZSD1009

LIMU MESS ZSD1009

Release this transport request and import it into Quality system

Thanks for your reply.

when i gave parameters as per your previous response i am getting error message when i am releasing TR.

TR created and when i am releasing TR(task released) i am getting the error message as "Import in follow up system! Rel. TA not possible".

One more doubt normally when we pass the parameters in se10 need to ask for language right but here it is not asking.

Hi Santhosh,

for transport requests of type Transport of Copies you have to fill the Target System and Client in the properties of the transport request, before you can release it.

Message and documention will be transported in all available language versions.

The only thing I#m not sure at the moment is, whether the log texts need an activation before on your DEV system. Please check your long text an d translations, if they still can be activated, before you release the transport request.

I have done the translations for screen painter label text.

So i need to create a TR for this and pass the objects.

please let me know what are the below objects i need to pass ?

Prog   Obj    Object name
