Message Code Creation

Hi,

Can somebody tell me the process to create a Message Code for an Output Type which is independent of the Inbound or Outbound process?

hi,

As message code is an optional parameter. And when several IDoc types having the same message type, unique assignment can be maintained via the message code. Can u tell where exactly u need this .for which Idoc type with same message type.

Do you mean a PROCES CODE?

Process codes are always associated with Inbound or Outbound.

Thanks for your quick response. But I wanted to know the Message Code which you specify while defining the Outbound Parameters for Partner Profiles (Type KU). Please let me know the procedure.
