Message cannot be transferred to node EXCHG due to connection error (final)

Hi Experts,

I Have Send an email from ABAP with class CL_BCS . (using Send email from ABAP with class CL_BCS - Code Gallery - SCN Wiki)

But when I goto the transaction SOST , it is showing status as "Message cannot be transferred to node EXCHG due to connection error (final)".

Can anyone explain why such an error status is shown? and is it something that the basis team have to deal with??

PS: The SAP system is integrated with PI system.

Did you check customiziation thru transaction SCOT for node EXCHG (Exchange?)

Hi Abhilash Nazar,

Basis team have to do cofiguaration for sending email.

I have atached screen shot of SCOT transaction, marked in red color box need to maiantain domain name so that email will sent and you so can see the same in SOST either in yellow or green color status.
