Menu Tree in SAP

hi all,

I have to create a menu tree like 'WEDI' or 'mm00'. Any pointers towards this will be highly apprecuaietd. I tried through se43 but how to acctach a transaction to the path.

Please reply soon .

The transaction SE43 is for an Area Menu and you have to attach Transactions to each node so that you can go to that transaction

If your requirement is to develop a Tree for a report

then check out the following programs. IN Se38 put BCALVTREE and you will have a lot of options

e.g

BCALV_TREE_01

after creating the area menu in tcode se43

In Edit menu select Insert menu entry -> Insert as subnode or same level

U will get a table control there u specify the transaction code and save it.

U can also refer to another area menu for this.

Hi Divya,

Please create a area menu through the transaction SE43 for creating a menu tree.

Please follow the steps as under to create a area menu:

1.First of all enter the name of the area menu to be created on the first screen of SE43 & press create button.

2. Go to Edit>Insert Menu Entry>Insert as Subnode. In the screen which comes , just enter the description & the name of the transaction.

3. Similary if you want to assign a report to the area menu, just press the Report button at the bottom of this screen.

In this way you can create a hierarchy.
