me51n screen exit problem

Hi experts,

im using the user exit for me51n screen. (MEREQ001).

I added "customer data" tab to tabstrip at this screen. I want to display an ALV in this new tab.

When i add a custom container to this screen and call an ALV, this alv is shown on the top of the screen, not on the tab that i added. Has anyone tried this before? should i try table control or is there an other way?

PS: I tried to put one single input or a text field to this tab and there is no problem. But when i try to put a custom container in the same layout, it appears on the top of screen in another split screen.

Hi Faisal,

thanks for your interest. I put the custom container into layout of screen 0111. Then i created all of the datas and the report at the pbo of 0111 screen.

Where did you create your custom container and your alv objects?

MODULE status_0111 OUTPUT.

  DATA: alv_grid  TYPE REF TO cl_gui_alv_grid,
        alv_custom_container TYPE REF TO cl_gui_custom_container.
  DATA: it_mara TYPE STANDARD TABLE OF mara,
        wa_mara TYPE mara.

  SELECT *
    UP TO 10 ROWS
    INTO CORRESPONDING FIELDS OF TABLE it_mara
    FROM mara.

  IF alv_custom_container IS INITIAL.
    CREATE OBJECT alv_custom_container
      EXPORTING
        container_name = 'CC1'. " CC1 is Name of Custom Control

    CREATE OBJECT alv_grid
      EXPORTING
        i_parent = alv_custom_container.

    CALL METHOD alv_grid->set_table_for_first_display
      EXPORTING
        i_structure_name = 'MARA'
      CHANGING
        it_outtab        = it_mara.
  ENDIF.
