material replacement

hi all,

IN my task i have a requirement that the material is either replaced by a different material or the price of the material gets changed..

how can i find the replaced materials.. means in which tables can i find them...

the material gets replaced whenever its validity gets expired....

old material number can be stored in BISMT field of MARA for that perticular material. DATAB is the valid date of the material, hope now u have better way to achive the task.
