Material Creation error Using Bapi FM

Hi All

Iam uploading Material master data from excel sheet throught Bapi

BAPI_MATERIAL_SAVEDATA. I created report for that but when iam executing the report iam changing the existing materilas but not able to create.

error iam getting is Material is not existing in plant.

how can i solve? iam able to change the material from this report but i need to create .

Hi,

Please check that materail and plant available in Table MARD.

Hi

The error description point to that Material is Already exists in the system and its extending to a particular Plant,

But since there is no entry of the plant, so might be the reason that it gives the error
