hi

i created a transparent table zabc with fields

mandt mandt

customer kunnr

rate numc (length 2)

i generated maintenance screen for this tabel with tcode ztest. and maintenance screen got generated.

now the probelm is that i need to convert data type of rate from numc to FLTP.

when i activate table and execte ztest it gives dump.

and error is on rate field of element list of maintenace screen . can ny1 suggest how to resolve this issue. i tried to change the data type of rate in element list to fltp it gives error:invalid field type.

can ny1 suggest wat to do?

Generate the Table Maintenace again. first delete the old and then generate again.

i deleted the maintenance screen and tried to generate new screen but error occurs that rate-quota will not be shown on screen cause FLTP is not an allowed type.

even in se 11, when i try to view contents the msg comes "ABAP Dictionary type FLTP is not allowed for screen elements."

wat to do?
