LSMW using BAPI (BUS1030)

Hi all,

I don't have much experiences with LSMW.

I wanted to create a project to upload secondary cost elements.

The Business Object I found with transaction BAPI is "BUS1030".

In transaction LSMW "Maintain Object Attributes" I choose

"Business Object Method (BAPI)".

Why can't I choose the Business Object "BUS1030" (CostType)?

Which Business Objects are available? What criteria is necessary?

e.g. Business Object "BUS0012" (CostCenter) is available.

Could anybody explain?

Thanks a lot.

Philip

Hi Philip,

in order to be available in LSMW, an object has to registred for that purpose. See transaction BDLR. You can find explanations in the following url:

@Sandeep:

At "technicalsap" they fill in the Business Object but they say nothing

about a not existing Business Object.

The first

@Houcine:

Now I think I know the difference between BUS1030 and BUS0012.

But to register a standard Business Object I need to change a standard

SAP-Object. I don't really want to do this.

Do anybody know the reason why SAP not registered BUS1030?

Thanks a lot for your replies.
