LSMW problem since upgrade to ECC

Not sure if this is posted in the correct place, so apologies in advance if it is...

We have an LSMW object which uploads customer master data onto the system (account group 0005). This has works for years, but we have since upgraded to ECC and now the partner function part does not seem to be working.

We load up a PE partner function and a number to go into RF02D-KTONR. This gets picked up correctly from the file into the position screen 2324 but it then doesn't get put into the field on screen 324. This just gets left as 0 so when the batch input session is run they all error with the Message No. F2613 Number '0' is not defined.

I have searched on OSS notes but I can't seem to find anything, does anyone have any ideas?

Did you see this information from note 961410:

"As of SAP Web AS 6.20, LSMW is part of SAP_BASIS. If you are using LSMW and your source release is based on SAP Web AS 6.10 or lower, do not implement LSMW after the upgrade.

For more information, see Note 673066."

Can you share the final solution please. I am also having this same issue. We are working on version 700 with LSMW version 4.0.0.

I logged this problem with OSS and there was a combination of things that we did to make this work...and we are not really sure what change actually helped the situation.

We ran progam RFBIDEG0

We also changed config in the following:

IMG >> SD >> Basic Function >> Partner Determination >>

Setup Partner Determination >> Customer Master >>

Account Groups - Function Assignment

adding PE & 0005 as we were having problems with prospects customers...

I'm not 100% sure what else was done as OSS were logged onto our system for a while trying to solve the issue...
