Long text

In cs02 transaction i am tring to save long text into the field item text and the tdname changes from time to time. the long text is getting created when i see in the table stxh and also i am able to retrieve it but i am not able to see in the transaction. i am doing a BDC for it and its the mandatory field. could some one help me.

Hi Subbu,

Please post the BDC logic where you fill the long text. The problem with BOM long texts is that if the field STPO-LTXSP is not filled in, then these long texts are not visible through the transaction. Use RCSBI040, instead, to create long texts for BOMs.

Thanks srinivas, with out save_text i am directly pushing the data to the bdc field manipulating it thru the increment logic and it worked out. thanks again.

Can you please let me know what exactly is the increment procedure you used to push Long texts with out using SAVE_TEXT.
