LIS structure update

Hi All,

I have a requirement to add 3 customer fields to LIS structure S713/S714 ( Customer specific).

These table has information from past 6 years. Now i want to add 3 customer fields which will be mapped with VBRP table entries.

I have extended the MCVBAP / ZZAMCVBAPUSR with new fields.

I have added to field catalog.

I am able to add to MC22 and generate without deleting the content.

When i open the S714 in SE11, I don't see the new fields added to the table.

Because these fields are not available in S714, I am not able to map the fields.

Any help to resolve the issue with S714 update will be appreciated.

You'll also need to change the update definitions (MC25), although I'd expect to see the fields already if generation was successful... Did you get any messages during the generation?: Can you see the fields in MC23?

Are you adding them as key figures or characteristics? Also you're saying that the fields will be mapped to VBRP, but extending MCVBAP... VBAP and VBRP are two different tables, was that a typo?

If open the MC23 I can see the key figures. I want to map to VBAP.

If i do syntax check, i see the following warning messages.

So my question is, can we add new key figures to existing S714/S713 tables without deleting the old content.

When i did the search I found the following OSS Note:

115538 - Changing of self-defined info structures MC22

I need to update the table structure without deleting the content.
