linking field not found

can anybody provide a linking field between the table MLST and PROJ ? or between MLST and PRPS? or among the tables JEST,TJ02T,TJ30T with the table MLST?

Hi,

A good way to find out information on how to link one or more tables is to use transaction SQVI (QuickViewer). I did this for the tables in your question and found the following links:

MLST and PROJ --> No SQVI link found

MLST and PRPS --> Link on MLST-PSPNR and PRPS-PSPNR

MLST and JEST --> No good link (one probable bad link though on JEST-STAT)

MLST and TJ02T --> No SQVI link found

MLST and TJ30T --> Link on MLST-STSMA and TJ30T-STSMA

Keep in mind that the SQVI links are not 100% guaranteed to be logical and correct. This depends on the business meaning of the fields involved. You need to use your judgement and experience to determine if the links are good (as well as testing with good data). Having said all of that disclaimer stuff, SQVI is a great starting place when you don't know much about the links between tables.

MLST has the field SPSNR (Std WBS: Internal project item number (w/exit on ID)) with that you can compare the PSPNR (Project Definition field) from both PROJ and PRPS tables.
