Legacy Data Migration

Source : SAP R/3

Target : SAP ECC

Data to be moved : GL Open Items

We need to migrate our Legacy data into SAP ECC.

Tel me the efficient way to do data transfer.

Any standard programs available for this ?

Or any technique should I have to follow for this upload.

Guide me please !

You have use BDC for uploading the legacy data into SAP system.

hi ,

according to me u need to know a specific set of programs to tranfer the legacy data into the ECC ..

All the GL related tables are to be considered ...

i have been a part of developement of a customised tool for data migration ...

all the possible things are taken care in this tool ...

its already been sucessfully used for many clients ...

Hi,

You can use either BDC or LSMW fo uploading the legacy data.

You can use BDc and create a t-code for that. That would help you out.

Use LSMW IDOC method.....
