Go to Database Utility were U Can Adjust Database Table.

Then Come Back Then Activate .

Hi,

You can add the key fields, but it won;t accept you, because key field does not contain the null value.

Goto change mode, and add a record in after the 2 key fields, then SAVE it. then goto SE14 then give that table name and press Activate and Adjust.

Regards

Sudheer

Hi,

u can add new key fields at any time. But if ur table has data then u will not be able to activate it. So add ur key fields and save it. In Se14 press activate and adjust data base. This will solve ur activation issues.

Another impotant point after adding new fields(Key or non key)

  • if u have table maintenance generator then delete and regenerate it.*

Otherwise u will get short dump if u try to access Table Maintenance Generator(Sm30)

Thanks,

Vinod.
