Item level text on sales order using BAPI_SALESORDER_CREATEFROMDATA

Hi,

In one of the integration application, we are using BAPI_SALESORDER_CREATEFROMDATA for creating sales order from web, but have stuck up that how item level texts can be created. Any idea?

Hi,

You should not use BAPI_SALESORDER_CREATEFROMDATA anymore.

Instead you should use BAPI_SALESORDER_CREATEFROMDAT2, there you can

pass text to the order.

Hi Dehra,

to create a sales order you are using

BAPI_SALESORDER_CREATEFROMDATA.but this bapi is obsolate from 4.7 version means its not supported to use.please use the following bapi.

BAPI_SALESORDER_CREATEFROMDAT2

The import parameters that we have to pass are

SALESDOCUMENTIN u2013 Sales Document Number

ORDER_HEADER_IN- This will contain header data. we have to fill this with the data that is to be updated we must pass DOC_TYPE,SALES_ORG,DISTR_CHAN And DIVISION

ORDER_HEADER_INX-this structure will contain all the fields contained in the ORDER_HEADER_IN Structure. In those fields we have to put u2018Xu2019 for the fields that we want to update.

In addition it will contain a extra field UPDATEFLAG. For this field we have to pass

The following values.

To update existed sales order data UPDATEFLAG = u2018Uu2019.

To Delete existed sales order data UPDATEFLAG = u2018Du2019.

To insert data into existed sales order data UPDATEFLAG = u2018Iu2019.

The tables parameters that we have to pass are

RETURN - we must use this to know the bapi is successful or not

ORDER_ITEM_IN u2013 this will contain the item details. we have to fill the fields that are to be created.We must pass MATERIAL.

ORDER_ITEM_INX u2013 fill as you filled the structure ORDER_HEADER_INX

ORDER_PARTNERS- Fill the required fields. We must pass PARTN_ROLE,SP,PARTN_NUMB
