Hi to all,

I'm new to SAP,particularly ABAP.I want to install IDES 4.6c and i have no idea how to install on my PC( windows Xp professional SP2,HDD(C-10GB,D-70GB) and 1GB RAM.please help me with this.

thanks for your posting.I tried to go through what there has been given,but the problem is ,my OS is windows xp professional SP2,so i just couldn't make head nor tail of it out there.If you have any guide lines about step by step installation procedures,would you mind emailing me at <b>jrhanjan@gmail.com</b>.thanks in advance!

Hi Jeyaranjan,

I believe you need to do the installation on 2000 server. I have mailed you the detailed step by step installation guide to your id and Latha's id as well.

Hi Jeyaranjan,

I've been struggling to find out the guidlines to instal IDES 4.6 c on my computer. MY system congig details as follows:

windows Xp professional SP2, 1 GB RAM, Hard disk: 180GB.

Can you please help me with installation guidelines.

I found the guidelines for Windows 2000 server operating system. Can i use the same for windows XP SP2. Is there any precautions that i have to take to use windows XP as operating system to instal IDES 4.6C. My mail id is lkundam@yahoo.com . Appreciate your help.
