Infostructure for Unicode

I've encountered a dump before saying RMCX0024 is not Unicode-compatible, according to its program attributes. What I did was I regenerated the infostructure mapping to the RMCX0024 update program using MC25. The error was solved. According to its attributes in SE38 it's already unicode compatible.

Now what I want to know is why was the regeneration of infostructure solve the dump? I know that regeneration updates the infostructure with latest data for the infocubes of BW but am not sure that it can also solve unicode problems of infostructure update programs.

Theres a special forum which is unicode related.
