Include object into transport request triggers error: Only edit objects from package *packagename* in local requests

Hey experts,

I am trying to include object into transport request but it does not work.

I go on SE10 display my transport requests, click on one and choose Include Objects... in the popup window I choose Freely Selected Objects then I choose a data element and when I want to save it in request a error is occurred with message: Only edit objects from package *packagename* in local requests.

Why does it not work? How can I solve this issue?

Hi,

Check the transport Layer ( target System and all ) of the object, if it is correct or not.

I had not set the transport layer on package from where I wanted to include the data element.
