Inbound IDoc Question

Hi,

We have couple of Idocs which has errored out because of the same Data Error. We now want to change the Contents of all the Errored Idocs and Reprocess the same Idocs.

Is there any Transaction where we can change the COntents of the IDoc's? We dont want to use WE19.

Any Suggestions is appreciated.

Hi Shekar,

You can use WE02 or we05 to change the data on the incoming IDoc.

You need to do the drop down on the individual segments when the IDoc is displayed, then double-click on the little page icon next to the segment name. When the next screen comes up, select the menu path "Data Record --> Display -> Change."

The message that pops up after you make the selection is indicating that the system will store the orginal IDoc in status 70, and create a new IDoc in status 69 (IDoc was edited). The IDoc in status 69 is the one you want to reprocess using transaction BD87.

Hi!

You can use WE05. Display the list of your wrong IDOCS, jump to one IDOC, open the list of data segments.

Double click the 'paper'-symbol beneath the segment name. You jump into a detail view of the segment. In menu you can switch to change mode and make your changes. Save. This will copy the IDOC into status 69 'changed IDOC ready to book' (or something like this). After execution this goes to 70 - at least I found both status in my system.

Not fast, but still better than WE19.

And one more question please to John and Christian - is it possible to add and delete segments from inbound IDoc in error status using technique you've described (without WE19)?
