Inbound fm

Hi guys,

Am creating a z inbound function module to process the inbound idoc.

have gone thru following steps.

WE57 -assigning fm to message type.

we42 - have created the new process code.

we81 message type

we 82 message type assignment.

Created the partner profile tooo,

bt while processign it says the Incorrect function module called up

Hi,

The inbound fm chosen might be wrong

the Inbound fm for the corresponding Idoc (Basic Type) hv to be called..

generally the naming convention of Inbound fm is IDOC_INPUT_<BASIC TYPE>

so specify the fm to the process code accordingly..

till now the standard inbound fm is working fine. and i have copied the same to Z fm...

Hi,

Alright declare the zfm in BD51 tcode with input as 1 and while attaching the fm to process code

the zfm appears in dropdown list from where u should select it.

Did you assign the Logical message to the Inbound process code in WE42?

Select your process code and double click on the Logical Message node on the navigation area and assign the message type there.
