Not sure how you found the note. But in SAP Marketplace it says the not is released, which explains you may not be able to use this now. May be SAP is still working on this.

Hi Vikash,
Please see below. No wonder why the instruction is incomplete in your screenshot. SE18 is used for BADIs and I don't see any BADI name mentioned in the note.

Ask your functional analyst where he got the the note from. In SNOTE, if you try to download it, it says
| 2239632 | SAP Note 0002239632 incomplete |
So no wonder you're having trouble.

If it is a pilot note then his company is the only company who can download the note.
A little bit missing is the name of the BADI, I assume it has the name that is mentioned in the description: CKLMDUVMAT_CREATE_RAW_DOCUMENT
And then it is pretty straight forward in SE18, you move the radio button to BADI, enter this BADI name, click change. in the next screen you double click the interface name and you are right there where you can add a new method.

hello jurgen,
i went in se18 and se19 as well and tried with CKLMDUVMAT_CREATE_RAW_DOCUMENT name
but getting same message in both condition that its doesn't exist.
but if it has to be created in se18 then they must provide badi name as well or class name etc.
any other solution can you sugest me.

your attachment is not the complete note, maybe there is more relevant information below, also in the correction you can find the program names where SAP actually does the changes when implementing the note, maybe you can get the name from there.
Eventually your functional can help by explaining about what he talked with SAP Support, what the background for the note is, where he had problems.
And last but not least contacting SAP Support yourself and complaining about insufficient information in the note, that the given instructions do not work that the important piece is missing.

Hello jurgen,
Yes it is a pilot note, so in this condition do i need to follow all manual steps ?

You always have to do the manual steps, you are even asked to confirm that you have done it when you later implement the note via the SNOTE transaction.

There is a section in the note that shows all the changes in the note. After you download the note and implement it, you should also get a transport request where you can see all the objects.
As Jurgen said, reply back to SAP Support that the instructions are incorrect. When we go to SE18, we need to enter BADI name first. Their instructions start with 'add method', how could anyone follow this?
Also I'm quite confused why the note is asking to do this manually. This should be installed through SNOTE, it's a programming change, not data element or message (which are usually "manual steps").
Just go back to SAP. We won't be able to help here since this note is not even available to us.

WE18 is just for BADI definition, to implement BADI (not the same thing) we need to use transaction SE19. There are many posts on SCN, google 'how to implement BADI site:sap.com'.
Please make sure to reply to SAP Support that they need to provide the instructions that will work for the customers. It's amazing how many times those instructions contain steps that don't work for the customers. Somehow SAP folks tend to forget we are not working in their namespace.
