IDOC message status

Hello All,

My requirement is while saving Purchase Order, if an IDOC is posted with status 03, then i have to update few tables.

But i could not find a place where can i write my logic so that the status is for the current IDOC is available.

Idocs on status '03' are outbound.

What table do you need to update.

Table EDIDC field STATUS stores the current IDoc status.

Data related Control Records for an Idoc is available in table EDIDC.

You have to debug your code & check the place, where you can write your code.

how are you triggering your idoc? have you written some code in some of the exits?

there are some exits available which you can use to capture/update some data related to idocs. Just debug your process and find out where and how the idoc is getting generated. There will be a status table (internal table) which will give you the idoc status information. This can help you in fulfilling your requirement.

IDOC triggered through output type, program RSNASTED.

where can i find the internal table to get the final status . I mean status '03' only i have to consider for other status i can ignore
