Hi All
I am trying to generate idoc for MATMAS message type using change pointers.
Configured the partner profile, activated the change pointers for message type, bd52 checked the fields assigned to MATERIAL object type, created distribution model and everything. After doing all these settings, changed a material UOM and description, created a new material etc etc, and executed the program bd21 transaction RBDMIDOC and executed with MATMAS message type.
Got a message " 0 master IDocs set up for message type MATMAS" What does this mean? Any help is appreciated. Thanks
Thanks
Ricky

I think you need to maintain the relation ship between Message Type and IDoc type . check T-code WE82.

It is already maintained. MATMAS05 for MATMAS
What else could be the reason?
It is very strange behaviour
Thanks

Hi.
Have you activated change pointers generally? BD61.
Hope this helps.

Hi ricky,
first thing regarding the change pointer is the fields for which the change pointers to be triggered, we need to check the data element ,u will see on check box in the further characteristics,as change document.it should be checked .
the configuration for change pointers is
!>BD50
2>BD61
3>SCDO
4>BD52
5>WE20
6>BD64
I hope u have done all these settings....
