How to Update customized table corresponding changes in Infotypes

Hi Gurus,

I have a z-table which is havinig all fields of infotypes 0000 to 9999.

first i need to creat or change or delete actions on standard infotypes by new data either by using std. transaction or externally using file.

Then later every updates in Infotypes must update z-table.

Either possible using ABAP objects or someother ways.

Please advice me and provide possible example.

Hi,

This functionality comes standard in the system. Please see report RPUAUD00 - Logged Changes in Infotype Data.

All Infotype change documents are already stored in standard HR cluster table PCL4 from which this report retrieves information depending upon HR customizing. Please click on 'i' (info) button on the selection screen and read the pre-requisite before running this report.

If I understand your requirement correctly, you want to populate a Z table on change of every infotype master record? In that case, it doesn't make any sense to do that because this information is already available in the system. But if you are still really keen on doing this the right approach would be to copy report RPUAUD00 into a Z report and then add/modify the infotype data changes to update into your Z table. I'm not sure what purpose it would serve though!

Hi Soguata Chatterjee,

Really your answer is so much usefull for me. I am using my Z-table for third party UPDATION purpose.Once they update NON SAP they will clean up Z-table.

Then Next any updation (creation or changes or deletions) fills the Z-table again they will use same table for their updation.

I want to do some interface either bapi or report trigger by either wrokflow or someother.

I need to trigger what ever you say the report by workflow or i will do batch job.

I have another idea to do update z-table for every updations in all infotypes by Dynamic actions . If you know indepth please send me document or reply to me.

Hi harikiran mitnala ,

it is not adviceable first of all ... you are adding all HR infotype fields into one table .then there wont be any chain relation at all .

inside the infotype's 0000 to 9999 there are so many relation which updates chainly to some infotypes and to all infotypes ... if you have your table there then it will update all the fields for any break relationals also ..

Example :

if you are changing address of an employee then @ that time also his salary will get updated ....

Hi Girish,

What ever z-table i am using only records for certain fields related to all infotypes.

I dont think so the changes will effect in all infotypes.

Based on the std formulas only all the infotypes ti-up together.

Unless untill i change basic fields such as basic salary like that.
