Hi Experts,
As a requirement we need to copy the customizing requests of an existing R/3 System to a new system.
I have 2 questions on it.
-
1. Is it possible to copy the customizing requests of one system to another fresh system.
2. If it is possible, what is the procedure to copy the customizing requests.
Even a brief answer would suffice.
Thanks in Advance.

Hi,
There is no such thing as copying a Transport request. If you want to move your customizing requests to another system, you will have to include your new system in your existing landscape and transport the requests to the new one.
You can also do a Server and data refresh to the new system from the existing system.

Hi Mr. Mahesh Ramakrishnappa,
Thanks for your reply.
The new system which we are going to develop cannot be created in the curreent system landscape. This server will be created in a isolated place for Test upgrade purpose. In this case how shall we carry out the same.
And it would be great, if you could give me a brief steps on how to carry out.
Thanks again

Note : System Copy is ruled out because of hardware requirements. ( due to huge volume of data )

Hi,
I am not a basis guy raghu and i only gave you the suggestion based on the experiences i have had. Based on what i have seen in Upgrade projects,1st the whole data from the existing system will be copied onto the new system and then the necessary upgrade changes are carried out rather than trying to transport all the requests.
regards,
Mahesh
