how many max fields we can create in one structure

Hi

How many max fields i can create in PS structure while creating custom infotype its like Ztable only

in my req there are around 70 fields can i keep in one structure itself ?

second doubt this will reflect on screen 2000 also so is it like it can create problem in screen design for me for 70 fields i can maintain there also or not

Pls help me for this.

Hi,

You can create a structure with more than 70 fields it won't be a problem. Also you can maintain it in a single screen.

Thanks for your quick turn around ,

I have doubt like in Custom Infotype also can we maintain around 70 fields and in these 70 fields am having around 10 fields with 255 characters this can create problem in screen label i mean this long field will definitely truncate the below field because of space limit...

next requirement is coming for me more then 255 fields...

In a table you can have any number of fields, the maximum number of length of all the fields you can have is 1024. This is the limitation that SAP has.
