Hi Shinu,

according to the Rules of Engagement of this forum :

- Use a Good Subject Line

The subject header is your golden opportunity to attract qualified experts' attention in around 50 characters or less. Don't waste it on babble like "Workflow question". We all have busy jobs, often we just skim through the list headings and read those that interest us. Also, DO NOT reply to an unrelated post to ask a different question. This confuses those reading the thread and may lose people that would be interested in your question. Always start a new topic with a new mail.

Bad subject: Urgent problem with workflow

Good subject: Error after transport: "Inconsistent workflow definition"

So please use a good subject line instead of 'Hi'

Sorry but i don't have the answer to your real question.

regards,

Hans

Hi!

Value contract: the vendor pay for a company, before purchasing, for example 10000 dollars. He can purchase from that company until he reaches this 10000 dollars (for example once for 2000 dollars and 2 times for 4000 dollars), then his contract is depleted.

Quantity contract is the same, but not with the values, but with the material quantities.

Regards

Tamá

Hi shinu,

Value contract

A value contract is a legal agreement with a customer that contains the materials and/or services that the customer may receive within a specified time period, and up to a specified target value. A value contract can be based on a certain material or a group of materials (product hierarchy, product proposal module).

Quantity contract

A quantity contract is an agreement that your customer will order a certain quantity of a product from you during a specified period. The contract contains basic quantity and price information but no schedule of specific delivery dates and quantities. (If the customer provides delivery information, you can create a scheduling agreement instead). The customer fulfills a contract by placing sales orders against it. These sales orders are known as release orders (or call-offs). When you create a release order, you refer to the relevant contract and the system automatically updates the released quantities in the contract. Otherwise, processing a release order is just like processing a standard sales order.

Contract means it will tell total quantity ordered. but schedule agreemnet tells the how much quantity will be delivered for that time and remainining will be deliveried at what another time.

Ordered quantity 30 kg

Schedule agreement1 10kg at 10 AM on jan1 2007

Schedule agreement2 10kg at 1 pM on jan1 2007

Schedule agreement3 10kg at 6 PM on jan3 2007

but total of all schedule quantity is ordered quantity

plz reward points if helpful

Thanks,

Suma.
