hi all

i would like to know if i can write any name for 1. class 2. object. 3. method???

how many class (es) are available ? pl provide the list of classes

how many method (s) are available ? pl provide the list of methods

and same for objects pl.

Hi,

You can't use numbers or specials characters as class name you must follow the

<a href="http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw04/helpdata/en/92/c2b084bc1d11d2958700a0c94260a5/frameset.htm">ABAP Objects naming conventions</a>.

To know how many class exists you can use SE24 transaction to get a all Global classes in your system. But the local classes you cannot get.

I suggest you to read these materials to get a good base of knowledge in abap objects.

Hi Rocky,

Yes you can write very well name for class object and methods.But iam not clear where exactly you would lik to add/mention these names.

List of classes and methods can not be provided unless you specifically ask for what you exactly you mean or for what you need these classes or methods.

Hi Rocky,

nameing rules are the same as for all SAP objects, however there are some naming conventions you might like to use.

You can get a list of global classes using the Repository Information System via SE80. Similarly a list of the methods in each class.

However, you questions suggest that you don't yet fully understand what classes, methods and objects are. Perhaps you should start in the<a href="https://www.sdn.sap.comhttp://www.sdn.sap.comhttp://www.sdn.sap.com/irj/sdn/wiki?path=/display/abap/abap+objects&">abap Objects</a> section of the Wiki.
