how to convert from sales unit to base unit....?

I have the sales unit unit and base unit with me but can anybody tell me the name of fm to convert from sales unit to base unit

or MD_CONVERT_MATERIAL_UNIT

Hi Madan,

There are many FM's to convert the Sales Unit to Base Unit of Measure. But the ideal thing to be done is to use MARM table. For a particular material we could get the numerator (UMREZ) and denominator (UMREN) for Sales Unit and Material Number as keys. Now you can convert,,

target field = (UMREZ/UMREN) source field.

Hope this is useful, other wise revert back for clarity.
