I dont know why my IDES 4.7 has no help information. when I press F1, the help window comes up but there is no detail for each keyword. I tried things listed below but it did not help. See below:

1. By pressing F1 when the cursor is positioned on a keyword in the ABAP Editor.

2. By choosing the This graphic is explained in the accompanying text button with the quick info text Help On… in the ABAP Editor

3. By choosing Utilities® Help On… from the initial screen of the ABAP Editor

4. By starting transaction ABAPHELP

5. By starting transaction ABAPDOCU and then selecting the bottom node of the tree document structure that is displayed.

Any work around?

It says on this link (http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw2004s/helpdata/en/d1/801abc454211d189710000e8322d00/frameset.htm) that I can download the offline version of Abap Help but it did not state where and how to download it. Any idea?

thanks to all.

May be login to some development client

after you hit f1 on it there is an option to create the offline content. Click on it and save.
