Help on DEBMAS - Outbound IDoc Triggering

Hi Experts,

Iam new to ALE-IDocs Scenarios. I have a scenario where i need to trigger an IDoc whenever a customer master (XK01) is created and i would like to check the generated IDocs for the populated segment fields as well.

Right now there is no connection between SAP and XI. so just i want to simulate/test the above outbound scenario from client 500 to client 510 within same SAP System.

1. Is it possible to do the above test within different clients of same SAP system?

2. What are all the ALE configuration settings to be done to implement this scenario?

3. How to trigger the IDoc automatitcally once a customer master is created (do i need to use the concept of change pointers..? if so please help me how to use change pointers)

Please help me with your suggesstions and solutions..

Answer: Yes its possible to test using different clients.

Answer: The config is similar to the master data distribution.

Answer: Yes you need to activate the change pointers and send the data once the data is changed or created,

Yes, it's possible.

Set up RFC desintation for receiver system. SM59

Assign logical systems to clients. SCC4

Set up distribution model BD64

Generate partner profiles, ports from BD64

You have to set the flag for message type DEBMAS in customizing in SALE.
