Hangs upon Activation

I am having a problem with the application hanging when I activate an ABAP program.  The very first time I activate the source code, no problems.  If I edit again and try to activate again, the system hangs.  Any ideas?

Install the latest version of the ABAP developoment Tools for Eclipse 2.16.3

This should solve your issue.

Thanks for the answer Christian.  What ultimately fixed my problems, and probably a few more, was I went to the menu path in Eclipse, 'Help-->Check for Updates'.  There were many updates which I installed.
